  • I enjoyed taking time to learn about how different foods impact my body and make me feel. But a big takeaway was support from other people, and realizing they have some of the same struggles as I do. Also, I am learning this is a process, and sticking with it even if there are setbacks, is key to success.

  • I felt educated and supported at the same time. I felt encouraged by Jess and the group during times of set backs, but also felt like there were such realistic expectations. I learned from other participants and I looked forward to the class each week.

  • For me just an overall awareness of what I am eating and how I am feeling.

    I think taking time to just pay attention to that, gather data, see what works and what doesn't and what impacts my body in certain ways was really helpful for me.

  • One word I would use to describe what I took from this cohort is… Confidence.

  • Jess is such a wealth of knowledge on women’s health, nutrition, fitness and menopause. Her funny, welcoming and “keep it real” personality make her such a great teacher. I felt educated and supported at the same time.

  • I participated in the nutrition cohort and loved it! Now that I am In perimenopause, I am noticing frequent changes in my body and noticing that food impacts me differently than it used to!

What EXACTLY will these 5 weeks look like?

  • Grocery shop and prep like a PRO using made-for-you ingredient lists

  • Eat simple, quality meals each day taking the guess-work out by having a plan

  • Learn to measure portion sizes and create a way to manage your nutrition

  • Take action and practice the habits that will help you maintain and stay lean for life

  • Slowly unpack what’s holding you back from where you want to be

  • Be held accountable in a group setting by supporting, participating and sharing

  • Stay on track with weekly live calls and in-person meet-ups with Jess and your team

FAQs

  • *Live call times TBD by the group.

    Possible times: weekday lunch slot, evening, or weekend morning.

    In-person meet-ups will be held on a weekend morning at 9:00am- day TBD by group.

    *YES calls will be recorded and available the following day. You also have access to the previous nutrition group calls!

  • The Live Calls will take roughly 60-90 minutes one time/week! You will also be expected to participate within the FB group offering support, asking questions, and sharing ideas.

    If you want to see results, you will need to plan on setting aside time at least twice/week to grocery shop and prep food. This will take less time as you become more proficient!

    The online classroom is information at your fingertips, at your own pace, between live calls. It is suggested you try to watch the main videos (5-20m) at the very least.

  • The goal of the program is to take action and simplify your current eating habits! You will begin to see results and change in body composition if your nutrition is holding you back!

  • A new program, one that LASTS, works within the constraints of your lifestyle through habit change. Depending on where you are in life, new habits can stick quickly or can take a long time to develop. Be patient with yourself. If you are not satisfied with the cohort, or feel it was not what you signed up for, you are guaranteed your money back no questions asked! (except maybe a few suggestions how your experience could have been better).

  • All of the calls will be recorded in case you do need to miss!

    And yes, going on vacation makes it a little harder to stick to your “plan” however, it’s a great time to work on mindfulness around food in a difficult environment.

    Life is to be LIVED and there is no pausing, there are “phases” and the sooner we embrace this the easier it will be to maintain our health for LIFE and everything it throws our way!

About Jess 💣

I am a certified personal trainer with the NSCA, Precision Nutrition Level 1 grad, certified in and coached in Metabolic Flexibility with Dr. Mike T. Nelson, coached by Author and Nutritionist Georgie Fear, R.D., CSSD, and have completed the Women are not Small Men, and most recently, Menopause for Athletes, course with Dr. Stacy Sims. I have been helping women train, eat and live better lives for almost 10 years! My own experiences with early menopause have led me through many years of training, eating and studying to find answers, and oh what I have learned! I want to help women feel healthy and badass working with, not against, their unique physiology!
