String up your failures

How does this artwork make you feel?

Scrambled, curious, twisted, creative, confused, different shades of green? ๐Ÿคจ

Let's say these are all your experiences, some broken, some bright, some twisted out of perspective, some small and some large. Regardless of their differences, they all equate to what makes You, YOU.

But what is holding these experiences together? Why don't they fall apart and scatter, get lost or slowly rust away? The belief that they can be something more. Something better, together.

We need our dark sides to appreciate our good sides. We need to remember our roots, to move forward and build brighter futures. One thing about our species is our need for progress.

We are wired, like these bikes, to slap on a coat of paint, pull ourselves together, and move forward. The human condition is to carry the knowledge of our imminent death, that time is finite. We are gifted with this need for improvement to carry such a heavy burden.

What will you build with your experience? Your memories, your talents, your passions? Are you moving forward or staying in place, rusting out or getting lost?

Decide what's important to you, and chase that with absolute grit. Throw some paint over the bumps and bruises, string up your failures until they create your masterpiece.
